7.3 Use of payment service providers (payment services)
- Apple Pay
If you opt for the "Apple Pay" payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device operated with iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security functions that are integrated into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorize a payment, you must therefore enter a code that you have previously specified and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function on your device. For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, will be forwarded to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data again with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to process the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the source website to confirm the success of the payment. If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Apple stores anonymized transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time and whether the transaction was successfully completed. This anonymization completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymized data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services. If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase that you have made via Safari on your Mac, the Mac and the authorization device communicate via an encrypted channel on the Apple servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that can be used to identify you. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and deactivate "Allow payments on Mac". You can find further information on data protection with Apple Pay at the following Internet address: https://support.apple.com/en-euro/HT203027

In this case, your data will only be passed on for the purpose of payment processing with the provider and only to the extent that it is necessary for this purpose. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary to process payments in accordance with the contract.

8) Web analysis services

Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), which enables your use of our website to be analyzed. By default, Google Analytics sets 4 cookies when you visit the website, which are stored as small text modules on your end device and collect certain information. The scope of this information also includes your IP address, which, however, is shortened by Google by the last digits in order to exclude a direct personal reference. The information is transferred to Google servers and processed there. Transmission to Google LLC, based in the USA, is also possible. Google uses the information collected on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for us and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The abbreviated IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. The data collected as part of the use of Google Analytics 4 is stored for a period of two months and then deleted. All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies on the terminal device used, will only take place if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without your consent, Google Analytics 4 will not be used during your visit to our website. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please deactivate this service using the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website. We have concluded an order processing contract with Google that ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. Further legal information on Google Analytics 4 can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=en and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=en Demographic characteristics Google Analytics 4 uses the special "demographic characteristics" function and can use it to generate statistics that provide information about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This is done by analyzing advertising and information from third-party providers. This allows target groups to be identified for marketing activities. However, the data collected cannot be assigned to a specific person and is deleted after being stored for a period of two months. Google Signals As an extension to Google Analytics 4, Google Signals can be used on this website to generate cross-device reports. If you have activated personalized ads and linked your devices to your Google account, Google may, subject to your consent to the use of Google Analytics in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, analyze your usage behavior across devices and create database models, including cross-device conversions. We do not receive any personal data from Google, only statistics. If you wish to stop the cross-device analysis, you can deactivate the "Personalized advertising" function in the settings of your Google account. To do this, follow the instructions on this page: https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764?hl=en&visit_id=638439362168640426-1197559290&rd=1&sjid=1018716896632164827-EU You can find more information about Google Signals at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7532985?hl=de%20UserIDs#zippy=%2Cin-this-article As an extension to Google Analytics 4, the "UserIDs" function can be used on this website. If you have consented to the use of Google Analytics 4 in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, have set up an account on this website and log in with this account on different devices, your activities, including conversions, can be analyzed across devices. 9) Retargeting/ Remarketing and Conversion-Tracking

Facebook-Pixel
To create custom audiences Within our online offering, we use the "Facebook Pixel" service of the following provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook") If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter with the help of "Facebook Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered in the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page sets itself. This enables Facebook to determine the visitors to our online offering as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the service to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). On the other hand, "Facebook Pixel" can be used to track whether users have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad and what actions they take there (so-called "conversion tracking"). The data collected is anonymous to us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes. All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website. We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. The information generated by Facebook is usually transferred to a Facebook server and stored there; in this context, it may also be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. servers in the USA. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

Applicants must provide all personal data required for an informed assessment, including general information such as name, address and contact details, as well as evidence of performance and, if applicable, health-related information. Details of how to apply can be found in the job advertisement. Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR (e.g. health data such as information on severely disabled status) are requested from applicants as part of the application procedure, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b. GDPR, so that we can exercise the rights arising from labor law and social security and social protection law and fulfill our obligations in this regard. If the applicant is not selected or if an applicant withdraws his or her application prematurely, the transmitted data and all electronic correspondence, including the application e-mail, will be deleted after 6 months at the latest following a corresponding notification. This period is based on our legitimate interest in answering any follow-up questions about the application and, if necessary, to be able to comply with our obligations to provide evidence under the regulations on equal treatment of applicants. In the event of a successful application, the data provided will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (for processing in Germany in conjunction with § 26 para. 1 BDSG) for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.

11) Tools and other cookie consent tool

This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to users when they access the website in the form of an interactive user interface, on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking a box. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives their consent by ticking the appropriate box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's end device if consent has been granted. The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is not processed in this process. If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website. Another legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent. Where necessary, we have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. Further information about the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS. IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING. YOU CAN EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.

13) Duration of storage of personal data

The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and - if relevant - additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law). When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the data concerned will be stored until you withdraw your consent. When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. When processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR. Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
